PLAYAS DEL COCO
Once on the ground in Costa Rica, you'll be heading to one of the most popular destinations for tourists & locals alike- Playas del Coco. This one time fishing village has grown into a great destination due to the idyllic beaches, beautiful gulf, and amazing waters.
Playas del Coco is a small coastal town that was born more than 100 years ago and grew around a fishing culture. In the course of recent years the town has transformed to offer much more, and became a very popular hub for vacations and tourism. Now full of shops, bars, a wide variety of restaurants, souvenir, and much more, this once sleepy village has become a perfectly situated destination.
From landing at Liberia International Airport, you are only 20 min from the beach and the start of your vacation. Your tour will be based out of Coco. From here we'll be heading out on the water, around the beaches, up into the mountains, and on some other amazing tours, all within a short drive. You'll have the opportunity to zipline, visit waterfalls, hike volcanoes, visit a variety of white sand beaches, ride horses, and take advantage of all the water activities that the Gulf of Papagayo has to offer: diving, snorkeling, fishing, surfing, or a party catamaran tour.
